Yes, I was there in September of 2000. It's a bit more chaotic than Spring Grove. Spring Grove is a pristine grid in comparison. The graves are pretty much shoulder to shoulder. I went looking for the grave of Honore Daumier, an artist and satirist I admire, and it was overgrown and tangled in with other graves. But it is a beautiful place with shady lanes and beautiful grounds. Spring Grove is much more "lush." And if you like to see the graves of famous people, it's the Mecca of all Mecca's...
You were there? This is on my list of must see places while I am in Paris. How does it compare to Spring Grove?
